returned from our family retreat

just got back from our "interministry family retreat" (I came up with that name myself), and the only pic I took was this: 

this was part of one of our group games. the point was to get everybody on the team on to that cushion that you see on the ground in front of Calvin. Calvin's team's strategy was to have him lie down on the cushion and then pile everybody else on top of him. painful. 

while I'm at it, here are a few other things United Life has been up to recently: 

One of our covenant group meetings. For those of you who don't know, United Life has a number of interest/demographically based small groups that meet weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly. 

Another one of our meetings, this one with our married couples. Seung and Ellen graciously volunteered to take care of the children so that their parents could pray and share together. 

Some of the members of our ministry at a recent event at UW. We've got some awesome voices at United Life! 

The view from a camp/retreat center near Leavenworth that I'm a board member for. It's called Tall Timber Ranch, (talltimber.org), and United Life will definitely be making our way up there in the future.
